Looking for something a little different to do this weekend? You might want to check if your city is hosting a pillow fight this weekend.

This is part of a bigger movement called The Urban Playground Movement. All ages are welcome to these non-commercial public events. One of the goals is to encourage people to actively participate with their urban environments rather than being passive consumers of culture. So get up off the couch and take a swing at some fun.

Man, I wish we had this in Singapore. I wish I found out about it earlier so I could’ve teamed up with some fun, crazy people to organize one. I’d dress up as a pillow and challenge everyone on the streets to fight me. Oh well, wishing everyone else a happy international pillow fight day.
